Do you want to bring a team to Guatemala?

Requirements:

• A team leader should be approved by the sending family/church/organization and fill out the interest form above to initiate the process (usually 12-6 months before the trip date).
• Team members must be 18 years or older (unless accompanied by at least one parent or legal guardian). Special arrangements can be made for youth teams (16 years or older). Check with us for youth team inquiries.

Already on a Reach team?

1. Click the button below and fill out the Team Member info form.
2. Download and fill out the Team Risk Acknowledgement and Release Form here.
3. Submit a Background Check (18+) and Letter of Recommendation for each team member (or a single letter with each team member listed by name) Background checks can be done through your church or we can initiate request via e-mail. Check with us for details: Send Email

Preparing your team

• Meet
  • Meet together with your team to talk about details, to pray and to prepare yourselves
  • Below are a list of suggestions for preparing your team:
• Pray
  • Pray for your team, for the missionaries, for preparations, for the people of Guatemala, and for your projects. Pray that God will prepare the hearts of the people you’ll be meeting and serving to respond to Him.

  • Fill out all team forms from your organization and for Reach.
  • Get your passport or make sure it has at least 6-months of validity after your return date. ( How to get a US Passport details.)
• Communicate
  • Send your questions to [email protected].
  • Sign up for our newsletter so you can know more about what is happening in Guatemala
  • Stay in touch with your team leader for updates.
• Practice
  • Share your testimony with your team mates
  • Work together through team building activities
  • Prepare the activities you’ll be doing (any dramas, bible lessons, craft activities)
• Involve others
  • Share prayer requests and build a team that will be praying for you while you are on the mission field and traveling.
