DiscipleTec: Art Classes

For two weeks in May/June, we teamed up with fellow missionary, Kathlyn Chan, for some art classes for our DiscipleTec students here in Chichicastenango.

These classes combined lessons about Forgiveness and Jesus’ Healing Power with art projects that reinforced the teaching. Kathlyn and her team did a great job of tying the art projects to our Bible lessons.

We love how God opens doors and relationships where we can work with others to share Christ with our Guatemalan students.

DiscipleTec is our Bible study designed for middle school students who are learning God’s Word and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) through hands-on activities that make learning together fun.
