Teaching Teachers

One of the exciting ways we get to disciple and build up leaders here in Guatemala is by training, encouraging and equipping children’s ministers.

We train teachers with free practical teaching techniques, challenging them to include key principles in their lessons and creative, fun ideas to help keep students engaged.

Some of the topics we cover in our workshops are:

In January, Michael and two of our own kids drove out to the village of Chicua I to respond to a church’s request to receiv training for their kids ministry team. We love getting to encourage and build up teams of local teachers who often have little training before they launch into kids ministry.
