Training teachers in San Miguel Dueñas

Training, encouarging and equipping children’s ministry teachers is an important part of what we do here in Guatemala.

In October, we were invited to provide a training workshop for about 28 teachers from the Freedom Church network in San Miguel Dueñas a town about 6 miles from the picturesque volcano called Agua. Many of these young leaders have grown up as part of this church and ministry and continue to help a new generation of students learn about the life-changing power of Christ.

We taught about having vision for your ministry, key principles for teaching children and personal discipleship.

As we train these teachers and others, our hope is that they will be encouraged, prepared and equipped with resources to help teach children not just stories but how the power of God’s Word can transform their lives.
