It is amazing to see how God is working around us!
The Adventures in the Bible in Burmese have been sent to the printers in Myanmar!
Thanks to God’s vision that sees so much further than we did when we wrote this curriculum for our children’s Bible study here in Guatemala, we now see that He had bigger plans for this material than we imagined years ago.
Translators and graphic designers in Myanmar have turned files over for the printing of the Burmese translation of the Adventures in the Bible curriculum. Local project leaders said the printer has the project but there is a problem with local electricity. Please pray for steady electricty, no printing mishaps and swift distribution to get these resources into the hands of churches!
With the help of LATM — a Christian book translation and distribution ministry in Joplin, MO– we are exicted about these stories becoming available to churches, teachers and ministries to help teach and disciple believers in Myanmar!
According to Google, an estimated 43 million to 55 million people worldwide read and/or speak Burmese, with the vast majority living in Myanmar.
Combined with our Spanish (637 million speakers) and English (1.5 billion speakers) this makes the Adventures in the Bible potentially accessible to about 25% of the world population!
As the new translations become available, we plan to provide access to the files here on our website. There are currenlty three other language projects in the works including Kurdish and Farsi.
Please pray for God’s guidance as we help disciple and train with God’s Word!
