Taking Jesus to School

In our community is a public middle school where about 500 students study. Through a God-given connection with a staff member, we were invited to speak at assembly to inaugurate their student government.

We talked about the importance of responsiblity and making good decisions using the story of Joseph as an example. Things don’t always go the way you want them to, but you can still be responsible and make good decisions when you put your confidence in God.

We also shared the Gospel and how Christ paid the price for their salvation. Many of the students responded.

We believe that God has some big plans for these kids and for this school. Please pray with us for wisdom as we continue reaching out to the students in Chichicastenango and that their hearts and this community will be transformed by Christ!
